Michael B. Jordan is finally responding to those long-standing rumors about his possible involvement in the upcoming Superman reboot.
Warner Bros is rebooting the Superman franchise and focusing on the black superman storyline that Michael B. Jordan tried to make happen a few years ago. The movie will see J.J. Abrams producing and essayist and novelist Ta-Nehisi Coates penning the script.
He began the eulogy with a quote from T'Challa from 2015's Secret Wars #7, writing, "Death is just a different kind of journey…to the land that I am king of."
We knew when Vanity Fair announced that Ta-Nehisi Coates would be guest editing the September issue that he would do incredible things, but we never imagined he would do this. History is being made. Our voices are being heard. Our stories are being told. We are so grateful to Coates for this work of art which will continue to help motivate us all as we fight for justice for Breonna Taylor and her family and so many other families like hers, whose loved ones have had their lives stolen by white supremacy.
