RHOSLC
Finally! After days of silence and outcry from angry fans, Bravo has fired a Real Housewife of Salt Lake City over her racist social media posts. Jennie Nguyen has been fired after just one season of #RHOSLC. The news comes from the network that previously employed her which issued a statement confirming that she's been booted from the housewives franchise. Bravo also noted that they "failed" to "take appropriate action" in a timely manner and pledged to do better.
In an Instagram post Jen Shah said she was "infuriated" by Jennie Nguyen and decided to "stand up" for her Black family; her Black husband Sharrieff "Coach" Shah and her Black sons, Sharrieff Shah Jr. and Omar.
Another day, another bit of bizarre behavior from a headline-making Bravolebrity. On Sunday night's episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, newbie Jennie Nyguen confronted Mary Cosby for comments she made to Jennie about loving her "slanted eyes." The new housewife who is of Vietnamese descent first expressed frustration to her husband Duy about the comment before confronting Mary in person. During housewife, Whitney Rose's brand relaunch party, Jennie gathered the rest of the housewives and put Mary on blast while returning a gift of Christian Louboutin shoes because the gift "wasn't genuine." As Jennie was telling Mary that she was "insulted" by the "slanted eyes" comment, Mary seemed shocked and somehow reiterated the comment again.
The heated tension between Mary Cosby and Jen Shah came to a boiling point on Sunday's episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
After Jen Shah was taken into federal custody, one of her Real Housewives of Salt Lake City castmates was curiously calm and viewers are wondering why. While Lisa and the other ladies were noticeably frazzled, Meredith was completely calm upon hearing the news.
Now on #RHOSLC, viewers saw Jen learn in real-time that something was awry. On the show, Jen was seen alongside fellow housewives boarding a bus to travel to Vail, Colorado for a cast trip. The ladies were joined by the production team who checked the cameras on the bus and prepared for the day's filming. While the cameras were rolling, Jen received a phone call from her husband, Sharrieff a.k.a. "Coach Shah" and she was heard asking him, "I need to go to the house?!" That's when things took a turn and the reality star asked fellow housewife Whitney Rose to turn her mic off so she could have a private conversation. After getting off the phone with her husband, Jen announced that to fellow housewife Heather Gay that she had "some bad news" and said her husband was hospitalized with "internal bleeding." A complete lie, obviously.
There's BIG drama afoot concerning the ladies of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City and it once again concerns racism allegations. Pentecostal Pastor Mary Cosby lashed out at Whitney Rose on Twitter after catching word of a recent interview the fellow housewife did.
Heather Gay and Jen Shah hashed out their complicated relationship on Sunday's new episode of "The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City." Shah complained that her former bestie Heather Gay didn't empathize with her struggles as a Brown girl living in the city.
Mary Cosby is facing charges. E! Online reports that Pentecostal Pastor Mary Cosby was recently charged with unlawfully providing shelter to a runaway and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Someone call Andy ASAP because Jen's "Shah Squad" is still seriously delusional. If you've been keeping up with The Real Housewife of Salt Lake City's legal drama then you're well aware Jen Shah and her assistant Stuart Smith are facing federal charges of conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing, and conspiracy to commit money laundering in connection with a massive multi-year telemarketing scam. Jen's issued not guilty pleas and she's been carrying on filming #RHOSLC alongside her castmates while thanking fans for support.
Jen Shah who's currently out on a $1 million personal recognizance bond, is actively engaging with fans on social media and thanking them for "not believing the hype." She also added that the entire ordeal taught her an important lesson about friendship.
The moments leading up to Jen Shah's arrest were caught on camera. She was reportedly alongside her castmates on a bus about to leave for Vail, Colorado when she received a phone call. After the call, Jen reportedly announced that her husband, Sharrieff "Coach" Shah, was in the hospital and had to leave calling it a "family emergency." Jen was then arrested minutes after leaving the bus.
