Tyler Perry signs film deal with Amazon Studios where he'll write, direct, and produce four films on Prime Video
In an interview with BOSSIP Tyler Perry talked about his new film 'A Madea Homecoming,' revealing how he comes up with creative marketing concepts, like having Madea wear the same outfit as Mary J. Blige to promote the movie. He also revealed he doesn't really pay attention to when he is trending on Twitter.
'A Madea Homecoming' cast including Tyler Perry, Brendan O'Carroll, Brandon Black, Isha Blaaker, Jennifer Gibney, Candace Maxwell and Geneva Maccarone attended the red carpet premiere for the film in Los Angeles Tuesday. 'Sistas' cast members Crystal Renee Hayslett, KJ Smith, Mignon and more also attended.
Perry is taking his iconic character--who has grossed over $1 billion at the box office over the years--to Netflix with a 12th movie, A Madea Homecoming. A release is planned for sometime in 2022.
