BOSSIP spoke with "Dear White People, Vol. 4" showrunners Justin Simien and Jaclyn Moore about their decision to make the final season a musical one and Simien said the choice was simple. The musical format allowed the show to approach the Black experience in a unique way while playing in the '90's soundbox.
BOSSIP interviewed newcomer Elle Lorraine about starring in "Bad Hair"and befriending, then attending the US Open with Vanessa Williams . She also talked about how she injured herself on set but was afraid to tell anyone. She also revealed that Justin L. Simien wrote original music for the film.
Justin Simien's new film 'Bad Hair' was the talk of Park City when it debuted at Sundance earlier this year. Now streaming audiences can look forward to seeing it on Hulu beginning October 23.
