Shock jock Anthony Cumia went on a racist Twitter tirade after he claimed he was attacked by a black woman in Times Square — calling her an “animal b—h” and a “savage.”
The DJ, one half of SiriusXM’s Opie and Anthony show, launched into a string of hate-fueled tweets after the woman allegedly punched him in the face early Wednesday.
Cumia, 53, said the woman was angry that he snapped a picture of her while taking photos at the Crossroads of the World.
“Then she punched me 5 more times,” the radio host tweeted at the start of the firestorm.
“She’s lucky I was a white legal gun owner or she’d be dead. Then 5 blacks started giving me s–t!”
Cumia surprisingly argued that it was the woman who was being racist and that she called him a “white motherf—-r” before she attacked.
“I was assaulted and used ‘mean’ words on Twitter and I’M the bad guy in all this?? Lol!” he tweeted.
As other users asked whether he was going to press charges, Cumia replied: “No! It doesn’t work! White guy/Black ‘girl’. We’re doomed!”
