Most star ballers started from inner-city wastelands of broken dreams before overcoming the struggle and rising to superstardom. Molded by the ugly realities of their block, many of them are often feared, labeled as risks with “character issues” and vilified by the media because of bad decisions and terrible influences from their past.
Here are the ten most thuggish star athletes ever. Take a look.[bossip_ad_a]
Aaron Hernandez
The trigger-happy tight end allegedly shot his assistant in the arm and head during an argument just months before his suspected involvement in the shooting death of a man whose body was found in a park near his home. But somehow he remained free with no charges filed for days!!!

Marvin Harrison
The future Hall of Famer was quiet but deadly as Peyton Manning’s go-to target during their golden years as Colts and never once seemed like a stone-cold killer with itchy trigger fingers.
Legend of Marvin Harrison: In January of 2010, the FBI launched an investigation into a Philadelphia homicide with Harrison as a suspect. The victim (a known dope dealer) named Harrison as the shooter responsible for a double-fisted shooting spree outside of his car wash in 2008. He was “mysteriously” shot seven times and killed.
Harrison was named a person of interest in the case and had one of his guns confiscated but never any formal charges filed. Two shootings. Both (allegedly) involving Harrison. No arrests. Teflon.

Stephen Jackson
SJax was a street-certified role player with superstar talent known for fading every fan in his path during the infamous Malice at the Palace brawl and firing shots in a chaotic scrip club melee. If any player was “too real” for the NBA, it’s SJax.

“Pacman” Jones
The infamous NFL hoodrat bit a cop on the hand, instigated multiple altercations, famously made it rain $81,000 in the scrip club (and incited a riot) and was recently caught on video assaulting a woman after claiming he was DONE thuggin. Lies.[bossip_ad_a]
Zach Randolph
Z-Bo is a monstrous slab of humanity with a very authentic love for guns, kush and physical play in the paint. For years, he was a true menace to society involved in police stand-offs and player confrontations before maturing (slightly) and focusing on dominating opposing teams. [bossip_ad_a]
Delonte West
No one really knows if the wildly-bi-polar guard smashed Mama LeBron, but we DO know he was pulled over and arrested for speeding on a motorcycle strapped with multiple firearms and a shotgun in a guitar case. Yes, like in “Desperado.” Or “Terminator.” Crazy.

J.R. “Blood” Smith
Famously-YOLO-minded on the court (and Twitter), the ink-scribbled baller lives fast and reckless without fear of consequences. Assaults, suspensions, fines, throwing up sets on national TV after hitting 3-pointers? J.R.’s world.

Allen Iverson
A.I. refused to pay child support, kicked his nekked wife out of their home during a dispute and was arrested on weapons charges in ’97 (and three other felonies in ’02) all after being sentenced to 15-years in prison for a bowling alley brawl where he (allegedly) hit a woman in the head with a chair (only served 4 months).
Once a globally-adored superstar, his steep fall from grace is one of the most heartbreaking in sports history.[bossip_ad_a]
Acqib Talib
The game-changing corner fought his own teammates, assaulted a cab driver, allegedly threatened to shoot a woman during a traffic dispute and fired shots at his sister’s boyfriend like a true psycho during a 5-year NFL career defined by off-field thuggery.[bossip_ad_a]
Lawrence Phillips
Assault with a deadly weapon. Vehicular assault. Felony Battery. Child endangerment. R@pe. Just a few of the many charges filed against the highly-touted first-rounder who was sentenced to 31 years in prison for savagely assaulting his girlfriend (coupled with additional gun charges). [bossip_ad_a]
