Django Unchained is coming out this Christmas and it’s promising to be one of the great epics in Hollywood, let alone Black cinema. We’ve had plenty of classics come our way, but guess what, they haven’t all been directed by Black directors. Sure there have been the Spike Lee classics and whatnot but these movies are right up there even if white guys and gals directed them.
