Karrine Steffans Blogs Her Road To Pregnancy With New Husband

You’re probably still in shock that the woman still formerly known as Superhead is someone’s wife. But now, it looks like she may have a bun in the oven.

Karrine Steffans, who still refuses to share her new hubby’s name (or face) with the public, has no problem letting her adoring fans in on some of their private moments. For example, on Sunday, she shared this happy moment:

Along with the picture, she reminded readers that about three weeks ago, she posted this little video of her post-coital nekked self in bed talking about the smiley face on her fertility monitor with the hubby.

Before that, there was this picture of the fertility kit itself.

And before that, was week one.

Trying to Conceive: Week 1

I didn’t want to go into this little venture armed with, simply, sexual organs and a strong back. No. I wanted to go into this decision fortified and with eyes wide open.

Here’s what I’ve got in my arsenal, thus far:

1. What to Expect Before You’re Expecting: precursory reading, which the hubby enjoys, as well
2. Prenatal tablets with additional DHA gelcap: making sure my body has all the necessary vitamins to support baby
3. Vitamin B-100 Complex: many women swear that taking additional vitamin B increased their chances and assisted in pregnancy by lengthening their luteal phase
4. Low dose aspirin: thins the blood, keeping away blood clots
Fish & flaxseed oils: additional omega-3 support
Hubby is also taking a One-a-Day men’s multi vitamin plus fish and flaxseed oils. So, when will it happen? How? I don’t know. Right now, I’m just preparing.

On Monday, we both being a workout regiment. Nothing too strenuous. Increased blood flow is said to be helpful, naturally.

And even before THAT, was the announcement as a newlywed that she would be very deliberately trying to get a gut full of St. Thomian Dread, less than a month after the wedding.

Being married, the second time around, has been an amazing experience. Being with a man who is not damaged is a new experience for me and I feel so blessed to be here, at this point, after all I’ve been through.

Now, with my son nearly fourteen years old, my husband and I are looking forward to giving him a sibling or two. So, next month, we will begin trying to conceive (TTC) and I am thrilled to share pieces of that journey with you through a series of home videos and blogs.

She apparently now lives fully in her West Indian accent.

We can’t even front though: they are kinda cute and surprisingly convincing as a married couple… even if that accent keeps slipping.
