CyHi Da Prynce – New Girl feat. Trey Songz
Ever since Kanye West recruited Cyhi Da Prynce out of local/underground semi-famousness, we’ve been waiting to hear him prove his ability to be a mainstream success on his own. And this song from his new mixtape “Royal Flush 2” just might be it.
Beyonce – Countdown
If you’re an upstanding, law-abiding, non-leak-downloading citizen, than this song is absolutely new to you. It’s one of the few up-tempo tracks off of Beyonce’s new album “4”. Since it actually made the radio in some markets yesterday, we figured we’d bring it to you here.
Jaguar Wright – Switch (Make Change) feat. Peedi Crack
We have loved Jaguar Wright since we first heard her as part of Coca-Cola’s “Nu.Classic.Soul” campaign in ’03. We’ve also been waiting for Peedi Crack to get out from behind the total eclipse that is Jay-Z’s career. Could this track put them back in the public eye for good?
Soulja Boy – I Love You feat. Nicki Minaj and Bobby V.
Soulja Boy’s career is such that he could record a song with no words or sound, a la Pootie Tang, and still have a hit on his hands. Which makes him lazy. Which is sad, because this joint might have almost been bearable if he had cared enough to stay on beat.
Ludacris – Sex Faces feat. Trey Songz, Lil Wayne
Should be a banger, right? Probably would have been, but it doesn’t sound to us like anyone in this situation brought their A-game… producer included. Is it just us?
