Forbes Magazine’s latest list is a shout out to a group of celebs with more millions in the bank than they have years on this earth.
The 20 Best-Paid Celebrities Under 30 made a combined $690 Million between May 2010 and May 2011. Number 20 on the list made $15 million in that time span. That’s more than half her age.
The list is a nice mix of musicians, athletes and actors. You might be able to guess some of the names on this list, but the amount of dough their raking in is sure to make you reevaluate your life and career choices.
Flip through the pages below to check out the bottom half of the list, numbers 30-11.
20. Carrie Underwood
Age: 28
2010-2011 Income: $15 million
With a successful tour and a role in the recent film Soul Surfer, Underwood can count herself as one of the two most successful American Idol winners, along with Kelly Clarkson. She’s had ten No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.
18. Robert Pattinson (tied)
Age: 25
2010-2011 Income: $25 million
With the end of the Twilight franchise in sight, Pattinson is preparing himself for a post-vampire career. The romance Remember Me earned only $56 million but that’s not bad considering the film had a tiny budget of $16 million. Water for Elephants, costarring Reese Witherspoon, also performed decently at the box office proving that audiences are willing to accept Pattinson as more than an undead heartthrob.
18. Kristen Stewart
Age: 21
2010-2011 Income: $20 million
Stewart’s non-Twilight career hasn’t been as successful as her costar Robert Pattinson’s so far. Her 2010 film The Runaways grossed only $4.6 million at the global box office. But the two-part Breaking Dawn should bring her enough money to play around with different roles while looking for her next big hit. Stewart is attached to one of two Snow White projects currently in development.
17. Miley Cyrus
Age: 18
2010-2011 Income: $15 million
The young star is happily transitioning away from her Hannah Montana persona now that her Disney show has ended. She’ll appear in two movies this year, LOL and So Undercover, and she’s preparing for a tour. She missed making the Celebrity 100 list this year but with a successful tour, she might make it back on the list next year.
16. Maria Sharapova
Age: 24
2010-2011 Income: $24 Million
Despite a softening record on court, Sharapova remains the top-earning female athlete in the world. She renewed her Nike deal at the start of 2010 and it has been very lucrative for the former No. 1 player. She receives royalties on her own line of apparel which was up 26% last year, as well as for her ballet flat which was the top selling shoe in 2010 at Cole Haan, a Nike subsidiary. Sharapova broke the hearts of single, male tennis fans everywhere in October when she announced her engagement to NBA player Sasha Vujacic.
15. Carmelo Anthony
Age: 27
2010-2011 Income: $25 Million
Anthony doesn’t score the same kinds of endorsement deals as players like LeBron James and Dwyane Wade but the Knicks forward earns big on the court. The Knicks lost to the Celtics in this year’s playoffs though so Anthony’s season is now over. Look for him next on a VH1 reality show with his wife, La La Vazquez.
14. Dwyane Wade
Age: 29
2010-2011 Income: $26 Million
Wade was the conductor who helped orchestrate the arrival of LeBron James and Chris Bosh to Miami last year. Wade agreed to take a reduced salary to accommodate the two new stars under the NBA’s salary cap. Wade made $14.2 million during the 2010-11 season, $300,000 less than James and Bosh. Wade has endorsement deals with Nike, T-Mobile, Gatorade, McDavid, Hublot watches and Mission Skincare.
13. Dwight Howard
Age: 25
2010-2011 Income: $28 Million
n April the Orlando Magic center became the first NBA player ever voted Defensive Player of the Year three straight years in a row. Companies usually gravitate to NBA guards for endorsement deals, but Howard is one of the rare big men who is popular with corporate America. He makes more than $10 million annually off the court with companies like Adidas, McDonald’s, Electronic Arts and AirTran Airways.
12. Rihanna
Age: 23
2010-2011 Income: $29 Million
Rihanna just missed making our Celebrity 100 List, which measures a mix of wealth and fame. But the singer is still a major earner, especially for someone so young. Rihanna’s been churning out hits since 2005 when she released her first single “Pon de Replay ” and she’s showing no signs of slowing down. She’s just set out on tour to promote her latest album, Loud.
11. Rafael Nadal
Age: 25
2010-2011 Income: $31 Million
Nadal became the youngest player in the Open Era to capture the career Grand Slam when he won the U.S. Open in September, 2010 at age 24. Nadal’s endorsement portfolio has begun to catch up with his on-court success. This year he started shilling for Bacardi and Giorgio Armani in addition to holdovers like Nike, Babolat and Kia Motor. He earned $10.5 million in prize money over the last 12 months.
