The Governator Stamps A New Holiday For Larry King
Yesterday Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger proclaimed December 16, 2010 “Larry King Day” as Larry King concludes his iconic run as the host of CNN’s “Larry King Live.” Read the text of the proclaimation below, we think we know what REALLY led Arnold to grant King such an honor…
King has also been a valuable friend, dependable supporter and well-wisher of the state of California. His professionalism and dedication to philanthropy have helped many in our state. He is an avid Dodgers sports fan who enjoys eating at many famous Californian eateries, such as Nate ‘n Al Deli in Beverly Hills.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER, Governor of the State of California, do hereby proclaim December 16, 2010, as “Larry King Day.”
Translation: “This cat contributed maaaaad money to my campaigning over the years, the least I can do is get the guy a holiday.”
Wonder can we petition our bosses to get that day off? *Kanye shrug*
