Drake took several shady shots at “d**k sucker” Joe Budden with the release of his new album, but the perturbed podcaster says their post-rap battle beef is M.I.A. as long as the Canadian’s “corpse” career is still D.O.A.

While everyone else is feeling the love for Valentine’s Day, habitual haters Drake and Joe Budden tagged in for one more round of beige-on-beige rage. Of course, Drake couldn’t let the holiday stop him from coming out swinging after a year under fire. On $ome $exy $ongs 4 U with PartyNextDoor, the “First Person Shooter” star once again took aim at Joe. However, Budden blasted the baiting as desperation when Drizzy should “spin the f**king block” after “99 ni**as done jumped on your a**.”

Drake Trolls Joe Budden On His Finsta Before Dropping The “Gimme A Hug” Diss
In the rollout for Drake’s new joint album with PND, he trolled his opps on the plottttwistttttt finsta. Amid the expected assortment of nude women, catchy captions, and dated duck lips selfies, Drake threw shade at Joe Budden. He didn’t insult Joe directly, hinting that the video clip of him walking in public was enough of a drag. “$$$**TTING MEEEEEE,” he wrote in the caption.
On Friday’s release of $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, he doubled down on the shade while bringing up another ex.
“Melyssa Ford, you a legend from the 6” he wrote about his fellow Canadian who co-hosts with Joe. “Hate to see you with a d**k-sucker,” he rapped.
The beef started brewing with Joe Budden in 2023 when he accused Drake of not growing with immature music on For All The Dogs. Throwing shade on your Finsta will prove him wrong!
As BOSSIP previously reported, Drake dragged Joe as a miserable has-been hating from the sidelines because he can’t get back in the music game.
“For any artist watching this just remember you are watching a failure give their opinion on his idea of a recipe for success…a quitter give their opinion on how to achieve longevity…this guy is the poster child of frustration and surrendering,” Drake responded in ’23.

Joe Budden Tells Drake To Keep The Shade Until He Gets His “Lick Back” From The “99 Ni**as That Done Jumped” Him

Joe Budden didn’t hesitate to chime in on Drake taking an even bigger L than the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. He fired back with a drag that was as menacing as it was mentoring, telling Drake to stand on business in his turquiose boots instead of trolling.
It seems like Joe stays thirsty to tussle with somebody, but only when Drake is at his best instead of looking for an easy win. He called out Drake for ducking the not-so-friendly fades with several of his former collaborators like Future, The Weeknd, and notoriously Kendrick.
“Drake, don’t shoot at me now that you’re ice cold. I’m not doing the back and forth with a corpse…Don’t go get shot all year and then pop up like Bernie in Weekend at Bernie’s wanting to shoot at me now. No n***a, go spin. Spin the f**king block,” Joe reacted, calling cap on the cop-out.
The LHH alum also dragged Aubrey’s audacity for shading a candid clip of him after that fashion flop in “turquiose boots.”
“99 ni**as done jumped on your a**, you out smoking hookah in turquoise boots. Don’t post me,” he continued.
Well, damn, Joe!
Drake did, in fact, check his biggest rap rival on the new album.

Although Kendrick Lamar declared “Game Over” on the beef at the end of his Super Bowl performance, Drake might have the last word with his latest release. On “Gimme A Hug,” he claims to be above and beyond beefing. Still, when it comes to getting his “lick back,” the disses are flying on the now-viral track. He also referenced Kanye West celebrating his “elimination” after Future dropped “Like That.”
“Yeah, Drake elimination, fake intimidation/
F**k all the rap beef, I’m trying to get the party lit” Drake raps, tapping out to play to his strengths.
Drake echoes fans’ criticism that the Pullitzer winner is too cerebral to make hits and using him for “promotion”:
“Funny how it’s only b*tch n***** waiting on the boy’s obituary/
Cause if I d*e, it’s these n****s that become the sole beneficiary/
And what the f*ck are they gon’ do with it?/ Have the girls up at 29 on stage twerking with a dictionary?” he rapped.
Some reactions think leaning on strippers and recycled relationship drama prove Joe Budden, Mos Def, and other critics right. While dedicated Drizzy defenders claim $ome $exy $ongs 4 U is the ultimate comeback. What do you think?
