As Tia Mowry reflected on dating and “repeating mistakes” from her marriage, fans think Jackée Harry seemingly spilled the tea about what caused Tia’s Cory Hardrict split.

On the latest episode of Tia Mowry: My Next Act, she opened up about “trying to have it all” and admitted that keeping up with work, family, and diving into the dating pool can become a juggling act. When the actress confided in Jackée about problematic patterns with partners, the now-viral clip seemed to expose some new divorce drama details.

“Somebody else was dissatisfied that they weren’t working,” Tia’s TV mom seemingly said about Cory, who is a fellow talented actor.

“You had told me that you can’t have everything in life,” Tia said.

“Not all at once. I told you I had it for three years in my, in my career, in my lifetime, I had it all. I had a man, the kid and the money,” Jackée recalled. “Yeah, and it was all working and then it all went to s**t. It was phenomenal. I had support. I had nannies. I had beach boys. I mean, I had it all, but you can’t have it all all the time. Somebody’s got to stay home with the kids or nurture the ego of the man. … Do I sound bitter?”

It’s unclear whether the TV legend referenced her 1996 marriage to Elgin Charles, which lasted seven years. Either way, she had a lot to say about marriage and what “just does not work” in a relationship like Tia and Cory’s.

Jackée Harry Reveals An Issue In Tia Mowry & Cory Hardrict’s Marriage: “You Can’t Have Competition, It Just Does Not Work”

Reflecting on her own marriage, Tia considered how those old patterns might haunt her new life. “Working, being a mother and just putting a lot of effort into dating right now is a lot to juggle and balance, and I can’t help but wonder if I am repeating the same mistake now,” she said on Tia Mowry: My Next Act.

Mama knows best, and that dynamic clearly didn’t end when the sitcom cameras stopped rolling. Tia admitted that Jackée understood the struggles she never even shared before. Does that mean she correctly clocked Cory’s sense of “competition,” too?

“I don’t know if you know, but when you were having that conversation with me, that’s when I was actually, I was like just smiling through it all. In the back of my head. I was like, ‘F**k, is she in my head right now? I was already having questions about my marriage, but you didn’t know,'” Tia confirmed.

“I did know from the ‘other side,’ if I might say, somebody else was dissatisfied that they weren’t working. One partner makes more money or has more success is a gap that is so hard and they can’t work. You can’t have competition. It just does not work,” Jackée advised, although she clarified that she always liked the Divorce In The Black star.

The conversation isn’t all that surprising and sounds similar to Nick Cannon’s candid confession about insecurity over Mariah Carey’s success ruining their marriage.

Tia’s previous discussions about growth and rediscovering herself shed light on her motivations for ending the marriage. Meanwhile, Cory kept his side of the story pretty private… unless Jackée just put a bit on blast.

“You can’t stop your career because you want to even it out. But I already told him. I said, ‘I’m on Tia’s side.’ I know you gotta choose sides when there’s a divorce. I don’t want him to feel bad,” she continued.

Just like when the couple announced their split after 15 years together, everyone had an opinion. One post of the preview has more than 3.5 million views in just a few days.

Every time celebrity relationships spark debates about finances, social media has a field day. Jokes and criticism still fly regardless of how booked and busy the couple might be. Some applauded Tia for keeping it real while others thought she shouldn’t have aired her ex’s business on TV.

New episodes of Tia Mowry: My Next Act air on Fridays at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT on We TV.
