Chris Brown Drags Ruffles Over NBA All-Star Celebrity Game Snub

Chris Brown took to Instagram to expose the NBA for disinviting him to the All-Star Celebrity Game and drag Ruffles for allegedly insisting on the snub.

The 34-year-old was disappointed that his invitation was rescinded after the potato chip brand Ruffles allegedly voiced their disapproval.

“I was asked by the NBA to play in the All-Star Game this year! Only for them to call later and say I couldn’t do it because of their sponsors like Ruffles,” Brown wrote on Instagram. “At this point, I’m sick of [people] bothering me and I’m tired of living in the f***ing past.”

The renowned dancer began the series InstaStories post with a screenshot of the email sent by the NBA, verifying his invite.

“I posted the emails so y’all could see. The NBA still was tryna get me to come and sit courtside…not f***ing happening,” he a stated before declaring, “I only go where I’m appreciated.”

Breezy posted the receipts proving he was initially invited. Yet, he failed to show the message uninviting him to participate in the game. Brown could have felt compelled to discuss the situation after several fans asked about his absence from the NBA’s celebrity event. He is not only a talented singer but also notorious for his athletic prowess. We’ve all seen the notorious standing back flips and balling out on b-ball courts.

Ruffles Denies Uninviting Chris Brown, Breezy Claps Back Telling The Chip Company To “Stand On Business”

After Chris Brown aired out Ruffles, the brand entered the chat to address the controversy. Ruffles took to social media with a statement to deny the shady snub.

“Ruffles sponsored last night’s NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, however we did not have any involvement in, nor visibility to, any player decisions or celebrity invite discussions,” the announcement said.

Chris wasn’t letting the sponsor slide after it clearly ruffled his feathers. He returned to Instagram Stories to fire back. The “Look At Me Now” singer called cap with a series of emojis, accusing Ruffles of gaslighting him. He warned the company to “stand on business.”

“@RUFFLES,” he wrote, “I guess yall tryna save face now! STAND ON BUSINESS. Don’t try to make it look like I’m trippin. YOU AND THE NBA representatives know exactly what yall are doin!”

In a follow-up post, Chris continued to put the brand on blast for its statement. He credited Team Breezy with applying pressure in his defense.

“I HAVE NO REASON TO LIE. YALL KNOW I DON’T CHASE CLOUT! The only reason they responded is because of all the team breezy fans flooding they s**t. Stop f**king playing with me! SEE HOW FAKE THIS S**T IS… COWARDS!!” he continued.

“YALL KNOW DAMN WELL I AIN’T LYING BECAUSE I NEVER BE ON THIS TYPE OF TIME. These b***hes (@ruffles) tryna save face!”

The famous gamer’s face seemed to be covered in defeat and disappointment during the MVP trophy ceremony. The innanet took notice, with some fans claiming he appeared to be on the verge of tears.

Although he was on the losing squad, YouTuber Tristan Jass put up a valiant effort scoring 27 points and ten rebounds. Additionally, Houston Texan quarterback C.J. Stroud, who was rumored to have been dating Amber Rose after an innocent carpool, put up 31 and 9. Stephen A. claimed there was no way he was losing to his ESPN colleague, but Sharpe proved to be the better coach. It was a day of laughs and fun for most of the celebs, which might have only made Chris more annoyed.
