In an interview with the New York Times, Julie opened up about the former fling. The 33-year-old claims she was being a good Samaritan by dating the famed rapper and designer. Before the pair linked, Kanye publicly dragged his ex-wife at every opportunity. Upon meeting Julia, the harassment halted.

“I really understood him on a visceral level” and “thought ultimately I’d be helping a precarious situation,” she said.

The Uncut Gems actress describes their bizarre but brief relationship as controlling and an attempt to spite Ye’s ex.

“I learned very quickly that I was being weaponized. I just felt like his little puppet,” she revealed.

The actress also admitted she’s a longtime fan of Kanye’s ex-wife and her sisters, Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian.

“When I had a fashion line 10 years ago, they actually bought our clothes and sold them in their [Dash] stores, so I’ve always had, like, a love for Kim,” she explained. “Like, the big three. Khloé, Kim, Kourtney, those are my girls.”

Fox touched on her six-week relationship with the rapper “lightly” in her upcoming memoir, Down the Drain. The Italian-born actress said she refused to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) during her fling with Ye.

“I’m not signing a f*cking NDA just on principle. I never have, and I never will,” she claimed before adding, “unless it’s a professional opportunity, then sure.”

Some X users side-eyed Julia’s late-breaking revelations. Meanwhile, others noted an alleged pattern of controlling and creepy behavior.

Fox and West were first seen canoodling on New Year’s Eve 2021 in Miami — just 10 months after Kimmy Kakes filed for divorce. The actress says there was an “instant connection.”

Since the relationship elevated Fox as a public figure, many people assumed she actively participated in the ruse. The month after the two made their first public appearance, the model told Interview magazine Ye’s energy was “fun to be around.” However, some comments claim those statements were “ghostwritten by his team.”

Julia Fox’s controlling claims are nothing new for the controversial creative. As BOSSIP previously reported, she and Amber Rose dished on Kanye West’s “love bombing” tendencies. They compared Ye’s charm and generosity in the beginning to a fairytale. For Rose, it was almost a rags-to-riches Cinderella story.

In February 2022, Ye attended Julia’s 32nd birthday celebration at the NYC eatery Lucien. During the party, he gifted the No Sudden Move actress AND five of her friends Hemés Birkin bags. Fox claims those lavish gifts and special treatment came with strings attached.

She recalled with Rose that Ye is “always kind of pushing the envelope as much as he can, pushing the boundaries – like if you tell the man no, he is going to find a way to get yes.”

That’s great for a creative, but a red flag in a partner. When it comes to Kanye’s new wife, sources close to Bianca Censori say they’re very concerned. According to PageSix, someone close to the formerly outgoing architect said he strictly controls her every move.

“Kanye has a set of rules for Bianca, which includes never speak and wear what he wants her to wear. She is also required to eat certain food items and to work out even though Kanye doesn’t work out,” the source revealed.

“She has no mind of her own anymore.”

It sounds like switching from one “puppet” to another. Kim Kardashian also noted Kanye dictating what she wore despite her own fashion icon status.

A few weeks after Censori met West, her friends reportedly feared he was turning her into a “radicalized” version of Kardashian. Even her blonde buzzcut looks like his ex’s hair around the time of their divorce.

“Everyone is extremely concerned. This isn’t who she is. She is an incredibly outspoken and lively person who is never one to keep her mouth shut,” a source previously told PageSix.

Fashion designers confirmed to the publication that West has “a whole atelier in Italy.” It’s responsible for the barely there outfits Censori wears and produces anything Ye can imagine daily. Fashion insiders claim Censori is opinionated about her wardrobe despite her friends’ concerns.

Hopefully, the new Mrs. West is really more than a “puppet” who can “never speak,” but time will tell.
