Rico Nasty continues to set herself apart from other rappers with her unique mix of punk, #BlackGirlMagic, and self-proclaimed sugar trap.
Now, thanks to a moving new doc from FADER, Rico is letting us in on her personal life, and it’s filled with ups and downs.
In the short doc called Countin’ Up, Rico cares for her young son Cam as a single mother in the midst of a busy tour life. Along the way, Rico describes her experience with grief since Cam’s father died from an asthma attack, and she opens up about her attempted suicides.
