Kanye Finally Gets His Call From Drake After A Twitter Rant

Every so often, when Twitter seems a little quieter than usual, Kanye West comes out of the woodwork with another rant. Today, he decided to let it all out responding to some of Drake’s recent antics, talking about the inner workings of their still unresolved beef.

It all started when Kanye posted a text screenshot that reads, “Drake sent in a clearance request for “Say What’s Real”. Do you wanna clear?”

“Say What’s Real” is a track off of So Far Gone, Drake’s mixtape from 2009, which samples Kanye’s “Say You Will.” Though it’s not known yet why Drake would need clearance for this record almost 10 years later, people are predicting that Drizzy will be adding the tape to streaming services sometime in the near future.

In the following tweets, Kanye talks about how much it bothers him that Drake has been dissing him in songs while going behind his back to talk to people in his family like Travis Scott and Kris Jenner. He elaborates on the fact that he isn’t the one who told Pusha T about Drake’s kid and never heard any diss tracks–and of course, he wants an apology face-to-face.

Peep the next couple of pages to see how the rest of Kanye’s rant over Drake went down. Things take an unexpected twist…

Kanye calls all of the antics from his former friend “industry games” and mentions how upsetting it was for Drake to send those purple demon emojis while Ye was publicly going through some mental health issues.

Yeezy wants to eliminate all the tough talk and diss tracks–he wants to go back to what’s real.

Later, Kanye goes on to mention why he’s calling Drake out now in the first place: these diss tracks, rumors, and mind games have been going on for too long. He also reveals that Drake bought out the two front rows at the Pusha T concert in Toronto, saying a diss track isn’t worth hurting people in real life.

In an unexpected turn of events, Kanye stopped his rant to tweet that Drake actually called him–something he had been trying to make happen for the last 6 months. But he still didn’t clear the record for him.
