Cheyenne Kidd Struggling With Sobriety; Former Porn Star Lover Trying To Help Her Get Clean, Source Says
Jason Kidd’s oldest child, who has long struggled with sobriety, is now battling an addiction to heroin, according to a source with knowledge of her situation.
Cheyenne Kidd was introduced to dope while participating in a rehab progam, the source said. Kidd told BOSSIP earlier this year that her drug of choice was prescription medication, and that every day was a struggle to stay sober.
“Drugs work when you have a lot of pain, a lot of trauma, things that impact your life in a negative way and you hold on to them as an adult,” Kidd told BOSSIP in March 2016. “They (drugs) continue to break you down. There’s no value within you.”
Kidd went missing on Christmas Day and the source believes that she was out getting high.
The situation has impeded the 22-year-old’s efforts to regain custody of her nearly two-year-old daughter, with whom she can only see during monitored visits, according to the source.
We’ve reached out to Kidd and her mother Tgia, for comment.
Further complicating matters, Kidd has taken up with former porn star known as “Suave XXX,” who is touting his recently released book “How I Became The Gangster of Porn,” as a memoir and cautionary tale of his 18 years in the adult movie industry. Suave confirmed to BOSSIP that he is indeed dating Kidd after knowing each other for a while.
“I am now a main factor and positive person in her life because I only want what’s best for her,” Suave told BOSSIP. “Our plan is to get Cheyenne clean and sober and to get her baby back in Cheyenne’s arms because what’s important to me is family first. I am trying to instill those values into Cheyenne and sgow her that she is no longer a child and it’s time to grow up.”
Suave told BOSSIP he has been a calming influence in Kidd’s life, helping her get sober and trying to get negative people away from her.
“I love Cheyenne and I only want what what’s good for her and her baby,” Suave told BOSSIP. “I’m no perfect saint, nor do I claim to be, but I believe that me and Cheyenne together will make a great team. Cheyenne is a very smart and ambitious woman.”
The mom of one shouted out the former adult film star – who boasted that he was once known as the black Ron Jeremy – on social media Dec. 27, saying she was “Missing Zaddddy.” and he replied “morning mamas!”
Before Suave, the source said Kidd was seeing a BMF-affiliated jailbird known as “Speedy,” though it’s not clear what the exact relationship was as he is currently incarcerated. “Hands dirty from counting all these millions🤑 #freespeedy,” Kidd wrote on Instagram Dec. 14.
The source said her NBA veteran baller father has washed his hands of his little girl until she gets clean.
