Drake’s Security Man “Chubbs” Said He Has Nothing To Do With Detail Getting Jumped

Drake’s bodyguard is firing back at music producer Detail’s lawsuit accusing him of assault.

The singer’s security guard said he didn’t cause any injury to the producer and is demanding his entire lawsuit be tossed out of court. The producer, Detail, aka Noel Fisher, sued Drake and his company October’s Very Own (OVO Sound) and the rapper’s bodyguard, Chubbs.

He explained Drake offered him a job as his exclusive producer back in 2014. He turned down the position, not wanting to be tied to one artist. Drake became enraged that Detail rejected the offer and the relationship soured as a result.

Then in June 2014, Drake reached out to the producer and invited over to his Calabasas mansion. He allegedly called him over with the idea of the two working together again.
Detail showed up the pad around 2 A.M. and immediately ran into the rapper’s bodyguard who socked him hard enough that his jaw broke.

During the beat down, the bodyguard allegedly said, “I will beat all your asses, including your bitches. I don’t give a f***. I will hit you again. Do you think Drake is soft? You think Drake’s a punk?”

The injuries were so brutal, the music producer claimed he had to be hospitalized for days and go through several surgeries. He reached out to Drake in hopes he would at least cover his medical expenses but the rapper refused. Detail then filed suit, demanding Drake and his bodyguard be ordered to pay up for the injuries they caused him.

Drake fired back at the lawsuit claiming his bodyguard only acted in self-defense and he doesn’t owe Detail a dime for his broken jaw. The rapper denied all the allegations of wrongdoing by Detail and said in no way did he act negligently, careless, reckless or unlawful
Drake claimed that any and all events, injuries and losses that the producer claims he suffered were the direct result of his own carelessness and negligence.

He said that Detail assumed the risk of injuries by showing up to his LA mansion, due to him having knowledge of the danger to which he was exposing himself, freely and voluntarily placed himself in a position of danger and exposure to injuries.
Further, he claimed his bodyguard only acted in self-defense and used no more force than was reasonably necessary to prevent the producer from injuring him. Drake demanded the entire lawsuit be thrown out of court and the music producer be ordered to cover his legal bills.

Then on December 15th, Chubbs, aka Nessell Beezer, headed to court and responded to Detail’s lawsuit over the alleged assault. The bodyguard denied each and every allegation in the lawsuit. Chubbs said he never laid a hand on the producer, and any damage he suffered was his own fault.

Chubbs said if Detail is awarded any money from the suit, that the amount should be offset by the amount of negligence he is responsible for over the alleged assault. Further, he wants the judge to reduce any judgment if any settlement is reached between Drake and the producer or with any of the other defendants.

Chubbs is demanding the entire lawsuit be thrown out and not have to pay a dime to Detail.
