Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star Stevie J pleaded with a judge to order the baby he’s expecting with ex Joseline Hernandez be drug tested immediately following the birth.
Stevie J headed back to court recently in the case demanding the soon-to-be-born child from Joseline be drug tested within 24 hours of being born. He also wants a substance abuse evaluation for Joseline and said his ex had been drinking heavily throughout her pregnancy and using controlled substances.
He said Joseline has continued doing drugs – though he doesn’t say which ones – in addition to consuming an increased quantity of alcoholic drinks throughout the duration of her pregnancy.
The reality star informed the court that Joseline had a history of acting aggressively and violently attacking others while under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
Joseline sued Stevie J, demanding a DNA test for her unborn baby. She claimed Stevie promised to pay for her medical expenses for the pregnancy but instead financially abandoned her.
She asked the judge to order Stevie to pay her child support and put a parenting plan in place for custody. She is due to give birth next month.
Stevie fired back shortly after agreeing to take the DNA test to find out if he is the father. He also pleaded for primary physical custody because he said she’s abused drugs during the pregnancy and accused her of domestic violence in the past. Stevie said the “Puerto Rican Princess” would alienate their child from him if he didn’t get custody. He also wanted Joseline to pay him child support.
According to docs filed recently by Stevie J, the reality star is accusing Joseline of being negligent in her personal healthcare and that of her unborn child throughout the duration of her pregnancy. Not only does he believe Joseline abused drugs while pregnant but he told the judge she will continue to use after she gives birth, according to court docs.
Stevie pointed out that before and throughout her pregnancy, she has spoken disparagingly about him in print, social and audio media. He claimed such acts cause him to fear that she will engage in acts of parental alienation once the baby is born.
He said he is more stable financially, mentally, physically and emotionally than Joseline and therefore the child needs to be awarded to him fully.
