Singer Jazmine Sullivan recently caught hell from fans after she posted a photo of herself all dolled up for a birthday party.
The songstress apparently attended a Barbie themed bash for a friend…
and after showing off her ice blue contacts and barbie pink makeup, fans accused her of trying to lighten her beautiful brown skin.
Really???

According to Jazmine everyone needs to calm down considering that she’s just wearing a costume.
“It’s just a costume y’all,” said Jazmine. “A lot of artist [sic] mysteriously seem to lighten (whiten) up the longer they’ve been in the industry because of pressure […] but that’s not the case here!”
