Celebrities Change Names To Be Less Ethnic
In case you didn’t know, show business is racist as hell. It’s hard for people to break in sometimes if they don’t appear White enough. That goes for Black people but it also was the same for Jewish people and basically anyone with a name that sounded like it came from anywhere outside of America. These celebrities knew what was going on so they changed their names when they broke in the business. Are they selling out or are they just trying to make it?
Charlie Sheen – Carlos Irwin Estevez He changed his name when his father changed his name to Martin Sheen.
Raquel Welch – Jo Raquel Tejada
Rachel Zoe – Rachel Zoe Rosenzweig
Whoopi Goldberg – Caryn Elaine Johnson She actually changed her name to appear MORE Jewish to make it in Hollywood. Go figure.
Natalie Portman – Natalie Herschlag
Ricky Martini – Enrique Martín Morales
