Rapper And Baby Mama In Mediation Over Child Support For Son, 10

Rick Ross said his son’s poor performance in school was news to him – and that’s because his baby mama won’t let him see the boy much less share how he’s doing.

Ross said his son’s mother Tia Kemp has blocked him and his family from seeing the boy, and their communication has broken down to the point that Ross doesn’t even know what school the boy goes to.

“Petitioner never had a discussion with respondent regarding the minor child’s academic performance,” Ross wrote in court docs obtained by BOSSIP. “Further, petitioner has failed to provide respondent with equal access to the minor child’s school, location of the school, identity of the minor child’s teacher, report card for the minor child, or even academic schedule.”

Ross, aka William Leonard Roberts, made the claims Feb. 3 in court papers in response to Kemp’s demand that he pay for their son’s tutoring, summer camp, therapy and extracurricular activities. In her own filing, Kemp said the boy wasn’t doing well in school and suffered emotionally from not seeing his father.

Ross said that the $2,800 a month he currently pays in child support was enough, and claimed that his income had barely changed since they negotiated their last child support agreement.

The “Diced Pineapples” rapper also complained that Kemp bad mouths him to their son and “such acts amount to acts of parental alienation, which adversely affect respondent’s ability to regularly visit with the minor child.”

Ross asked a judge to toss Kemp’s money demand and asked that Kemp pay his lawyer’s fees.

The case has been ordered into mediation.
