The singer, from Connecticut, has revealed she can charge anything up to $70,000 (£47,000) for a single appearance, impersonating the 45-year-old Grammy winner.
And during the holiday season, it’s All I Want For Christmas that audiences want to hear, says the 41-year-old, who’s been doing it for 20 years.
Laura’s uncanny resemblance to the pop sensation means she is fully-booked up every Christmas with customers eager for her to belt out Mariah’s festive tune at their event.
It also means she is often mistaken for the star herself – and revealed how the producers for a then unknown Drake once ‘begged’ her to listen to his new CD.
Says Laura about her facsimile lifestyle:
‘I am always busy but over the holidays, I am extra busy! People always want to see me perform Mariah’s number one song All I want For Christmas.
‘Appearing as Mariah brings a lot of joy and smiles to guests over the festive season so I like to perform for free for good causes too.
‘I’ve been a professional Mariah Carey lookalike for over 20 years and I’m still loving every moment of it.’
