After no black actors or directors were nominated for 2015 Academy Awards (UMMMM hello….where are Ava Duvernay and David Oyelowo???), Twitter exploded with reactions.
People who are rightfully fed up with the Oscar’s tendency to glance over stellar black performances have created the #OscarsSoWhite hash tag to humorously protest to the whitest Academy Awards since 1998.
LOL!
Although we’re laughing at the ridiculousness of an all white Academy Awards, it’s truly a shame that these snubs are STILL happening in “post-racial” America.
See what else people are saying about #OscarsSoWhite after the flip.
